An amazing Omega 2220-5 from 1944. This watch, with roman numerals and an amazingly and evenly aged dial has it all. The original dial has gotten a nice champagne/salmon colour over the years which make this a unique piece. The state is extraordinary with the original crown and beautiful leaf hands with dark blue coloured second hand. The movement inside this piece is the coveted 30t2 movement. The specialty about this movement is the addition of the SCPC indication. Which means that this particular movement has a sweep second and incabloc. The serial number dates back to 1944 (10xxxxxx) and is correct to the incabloc indication which started appearing in 1943. The diameter ex crown is 32.5mm. The watch comes on a brand new leather RIOS strap of choice. Lastly the watch has been serviced in December 2020 by our expert watchmaker with timegrapher results available per request.
Overall an amazing watch with lots of collector value!
What we love:
-Beautiful and rare 30t2 SCPC movement
-Amazingly aged dial
-All original
-Serviced in December 2020
What you should know:
-The acrylic crystal is not original anymore, which is also highly unlikely to be original on watches from 1944
